Painted on location from San Mateo campfire circle at campground inland from Trestles on county line in San Diego. The view shows the fire break at the pristine Camp Pendleton to the south with a glimpse of the power lines from the San Onofre Power plant. This beautiful campground is threatened by a toll road that Sierra Club and Friends of the Foothills are so far successfully thwarting. It would destroy Indian buriel grounds, the jewel of a campground, pristine trestles beach and habitat as well as add over 500,000 new residents to sleepy San Clemente..STOP THE TOLL ROAD
