I was going to paint at the Torrey Pines State Beach and took my pass from my membership to the Torrey Pines Association to get in. (It is to help pay for the preserve and found out it wasn't applicable at the beach and even for me to go in and turn around would cost me $10. I parked on the street and walked in above the beach only to find a delightful peaceful lagoon next to the train tracks. The trains honked "hello" as I painted in peace and I danced in defiance.
