" I  LOVE the ever-changing OCEAN, BEACH, PRISTINE CANYONS, & inland VISTAS!"                                                             As a California coastal native & environmentalist, Dot Renshaw's  paintings reflect her reverence for the vanishing wilderness &  nature's beauty.  She works in oil, pastel, & watercolor in both plein air landscapes & figures. Her exuberance is shown through her energetic brush strokes, dramatic light, and and color temperature in her subjects.  Dot has painted California's changing scenes since her childhood depicting the atmospheric condition with subtle nuances.  Classically trained, she has  over 40 years experience teaching painting and creating art.
